About the Examination Cell

The Examination Cell functions as the nodal administrative body for the planning, coordination, and execution of all examination-related activities of the institution in compliance with the regulations, policies, and procedures prescribed by Anna University.

It plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, transparency, and efficiency of the examination system while serving as the primary interface between the institution and the University.

The Cell is entrusted with the systematic management of University Examination processes, including student registration, examination scheduling, hall ticket generation, maintenance of examination records, result dissemination, and processing of revaluation and review applications.

It also coordinates with academic departments to monitor the timely submission and uploading of internal assessment marks and student attendance data through the University portal, ensuring strict adherence to University timelines and regulations.

Key Functions of the Examination Cell

Coordinate and administer all University Examination activities in accordance with Anna University regulations.
Facilitate student examination registration and related documentation.
Monitor the submission and uploading of internal assessment marks and attendance records.
Generate and distribute hall tickets for University Examinations.
Maintain and manage examination records, reports, and student data.
Coordinate the publication and dissemination of examination results.
Process applications for revaluation, photocopy, and review of answer scripts.
Ensure compliance with examination policies, procedures, and timelines prescribed by the University.
Maintain confidentiality, transparency, and accuracy in all examination-related activities.
Provide timely support and guidance to students, faculty members, and administrative departments.
