Blood Donation Camp Conducted by YRC

The Youth Red Cross (YRC) and Red Ribbon Club (RRC) Units of the college, in collaboration with Government Hospital, Vellore, successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on 04 March 2026.

The camp witnessed an enthusiastic response from students and staff, with 92 volunteers donating blood. The initiative aimed to promote the spirit of humanitarian service and create awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation in saving lives.

The college appreciates the generous contribution of all donors and the support extended by the medical team for the successful conduct of the camp.

Awareness Programme on Tuberculosis, Nutrients and General Well-being

The Youth Red Cross (YRC) Unit and Red Ribbon Club (RRC) of the college organized an Awareness Programme on Tuberculosis, Nutrients and General Well-being to promote health consciousness among students.

The session was delivered by Tmt. Selvi, ICDS Counsellor, Primary Health Center, Usoor, Vellore District, who provided valuable insights on the causes and prevention of malnutrition, awareness of sexually transmitted diseases, and the importance of maintaining physical and mental well-being.

The programme helped students gain a better understanding of healthy lifestyle practices and encouraged them to make informed decisions regarding their health and well-being. The interactive session was well received by the participants and contributed to enhancing health awareness among the student community.
